Do you have a video that uses a generic routine that controls the user as far as allowing adding records, editing records and deleting records in a form with a multi record sub form. I want the user to start out in the form being able to only view the records and must click on a button or some kind of control before adding or editing a record so they are aware of what is going to happen instead of possibly changing data by mistake?
Also since Access puts a default value in a currency control automatically the user must erase the value in order to fill the control with the real data can you show how to automatically select the default value so that if the user just starts typing the default value will be erased automatically? I do not want to set this option to do this automatically in the database options.
